Fracking releases radioactive contamination

Here's an interesting story about radioactive contamination being released from a fracking wastewater treatment system:

Even if fracking water gets recycled, the contaminants removed from it have to go somewhere. Disturbing strata which have been in equilibrium for thousands if not millions of years can have BAD consequences.

Like most industries, the companies which are fracking do not want to pay to clean up the whole mess they leave in their wake. Sadly, state and federal laws often help get them off the hook.

Frack today, suffer tomorrow. When will we ever learn?
