Two comments:
(1) Since the author is not a licensed financial advisor, what is the point of publishing this article?
(2) These changes didn't just "happen". We didn't just not keep up with the world. The powers that be SCREWED us; they enabled these changes, offshored our jobs, and crippled our tax base.
And now they have the gall to say "we need to adapt".
Screw you.
