If anyone should be decolonized, it is the US. The NATO and Five Eyes countries and most of the nations of Africa, Central and South America are either US colonies or countries whose populations would prefer to be "decolonized" from the US.
US power depends on its rape of those countries by the military/industrial complex. Anyone who really wants peace and democracy in the world MUST blunt US power. Anything less is a cynical, futile gesture.
And YES, I know how the US actually works. This is no democracy. It never was and never will be. It's an oligarchy in which power stems from money, and the people no longer have either.
