From the German Business News:
Two days before the federal election, ARD had projections for the federal election played live during a quiz broadcast. The broadcaster later clarified: "It was a test that accidentally went on air. Please excuse that."

Sound familiar?
I don't even know what to make of the AZ audit, other than to say this - an election whose results cannot be audited, conducted under new laws or rules which violate a state's constitution, tabulated without poll watcher oversight, and with results which do not agree with other measures of what took place are fundamentally suspect and never should be "certified". But apparently none of that matters as long as the "right" persons win.
So, why even have elections in the first place? They seldom determine the direction in which a country will go. In our case (the USA) they seem to be merely part of our national delusion. They might as well give us the results two days in advance, for all it matters.
