Joe Biden's wrecking crew wants us to stop using fossil fuels. I'm sure they mean well.
But are their claims about the cost of "green" energy accurate? Take a look at these reports and decide for yourself:
In a former life I worked for the TX environmental agency, and I reviewed multiple permit applications for "green" energy projects. Most of them never got built because they were not competitive (i.e., they cost more than existing energy sources).
So YES, I believe "green" energy will cost more than what we're paying now.
And the weirdest part is that much of the new infrastructure may be built in China or Europe (or by Chinese or EU companies), so they may get the bulk of the related jobs instead of US workers.
That's the global economy for ya. Does Joe Biden know this? Does he care?
By the way, China pollutes more than the US and all developed countries combined:
Does Joe's plan take this into account? Apparently not.
Update - 5/16/2021
I keep hearing that Bitcoin mining uses a lot of electricity:

But now Ethereum may have found a way to solve that problem:

If that's the case, I think I'll buy some more and perhaps become a miner myself.
