Depraved Indifference ???

Here are two videos which discuss the abject failure of the medical profession to provide meaningful early treatment options for COVID-19:

Note this is a global problem, not merely a US one.

One has to conclude that some global "authority" has decided for the rest of us that the ONLY permissible treatments are the mRNA vaccines OR late stage ventilation in a hospital (typically leading to the patient's death). In other words, not really a treatment at all.

If this is not an instance of depraved indifference, then I don't know what that term means.
