Keep The Electoral College

It is my belief that when the US Constitution was ratified, The Founders wanted our executive leader (president) to be chosen by a group of the best and brightest among us (i.e., the electoral college).

But now the powers that be want to replace that concept with "election by the mob" (i.e., the so-called popular vote):

This is a bad idea, and another step in the dismantling of our republic.

Don't do it. We should instead RESTORE the college to its original composition and role.

Then all we'd have to do is find enough people we'd actually trust to elect someone who respected the interests of We the People and our republic.
