Yesterday I watched the movie "13 Hours" about the Benghazi attacks. I stand in awe of the bravery and sacrifices of the men and women who were portrayed in the movie.
Several things caught my eye during the show:
1. The leaders of CIA and State were assigned absolutely no blame in the film; in fact, they were not even mentioned. Why did the producers and We The People let them get away with what at the very least was extreme negligence and/or incompetence?
2. The movie states that CIA was monitoring weapons trafficking to ensure nothing fell into the wrong hands. However, credible sources state that CIA and others were INVOLVED in the trafficking and were actively transferring Gaddafi's weapons to Syria in an effort to aid the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad. I find that to be much more believable.
3. The movie makes it appear that US forces did not intervene to rescue our men and women who were under attack because they did not have "permission" from the Libyan government. This is horseshit. Did Obama ad-Dajjal and Hillary get permission from the lawful Libyan government before NATO bombed the bejesus out of the country and caused the murder of its leader? Of course not. So why worry about "permission" now?
If you want to be entertained by realistic battle scenes and gore, this movie is for you. If you want to know what really happened in Benghazi, you are shit out of luck.
