Christians United for Israel said the following after PM NetanYahoo's speech to the US Congress:
“Prime Minister Netanyahu is confirming something that we in CUFI have long believed. The fact is that we are all in this together. Radical Islam -- both in its Shiite and Sunni forms -- targets America and Israel, Christians and Jews.” Christians United for Israel Executive Director David Brog told The Jerusalem Post. “This is not a Jewish problem that the rest of the world can afford to ignore. Israel is not the cause of this evil. Quite to the contrary, Israel is our first line of defense against this evil."
"This is the hour that America has heard the truth. we must respond with meaningful legislation to guarantee liberty for both Israel and America," Pastor John Hagee says.

Dear Pastor John: The issue should not be "liberty for Israel and America", but rather are Israel and America doing what G-d wants them to do.
US legislation cannot guarantee the safety of Israel. Only G-d's will can do that. And we have little or no input into G-d's will.
Is radical Islam targeting Christians and Jews, or is it targeting the wicked and the unrighteous? I would argue that if Christians were doing what Jesus told us to do and refrained from doing the things He said not to do NO ONE would be attacking us. Jesus NEVER said to strike back at anyone who attacked you, let alone anyone who threatened you.
Muslims believe in Jesus, Jews do not. Are you certain we are supporting the right side in this battle?
Should we be supporting any side at all, other than G-d's side? The Book of Revelation speaks of no role for the saints other than to have patience and faith and to stay out of G-d's way.
I personally think you've got this all wrong.
