I don't know what's REALLY going on, but here's a related paradox:
Have you heard of a single similar event at a WEAPONS factory?
Granted, food factories have ignition sources and weapons factories probably take great care to prevent accidents, but statistically shouldn't we see at least SOME catastrophes at our bomb factories?
