Once again, the US pot is calling the Russian kettle black:
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17748257/putin-russian-ukraine-military-ww3-2/
If you recall, the US/NATO attacks on Iraq, Libya, Serbia, Syria, etc. cause innumerable civilian casualties, all of which were some "justified" by the US and the MSM and/or blamed on the leaders of those nations.
And now we're supposed to feel compassion for the people of Ukraine? Well, I certainly do, but I also know none of this would have happened (including the deaths in Iraq, Libya, Serbia, Syria, etc.) if the psychopaths in the US government had engaged in actual diplomacy instead of demanding the unconditional surrender of people who really posed no threat to us.
You can demonize Putin all you want, but ultimately this is on us. It's the way we've always rolled. Only this time we picked a fight with someone who's not going to take our crap any more.
Update - 2/25/2022
And let's not forget the US-sponsored Saudi war on Yemen, which has killed and will kill far more innocent people than Russia is likely to kill during their peacekeeping mission in Ukraine:

If you look, you can find many more instances of US hypocrisy and perfidy. The MSM continues to ignore them, but I doubt China, Iran, and Russia ever will. You reap what you sow.
