Here is a German politician's assessment of the US policy on Ukraine:
"The whole policy of the Western countries - of course led by the USA, who make the policy, no one else - is based on lies," said the current parliamentary group leader of the Left Party in the Saarland state parliament. Russia is not on the US borders, but the US has missile bases in Romania and Poland. The US also financed "a coup" in Ukraine. "So the solution would be very simple: since the US doesn't want missile bases and troops on their doorstep, they have to give Russia the same right."
