I don't know if Pat would have been a great president, but he certainly couldn't have done much worse than the last several. Same applies to Ron Paul.
The entire Afghanistan episode should teach us at least these lessons - our military "leaders" appear to be cowards driven chiefly by pride and greed, who seldom if ever tell us the truth, and who NEVER should have been allowed to accumulate the power they now wield over our economy and the fate of most countries in the world.
Cut off their funding and punish the war criminals among them and their Israeli accomplices. The rest of the world can take care of itself.
