It appears that Westinghouse and SCANA execs are in trouble over the latest nuclear power plant debacle. You can read about it here:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/more-criminal-charges-filed-south-193059123.html
In my 25+ years in the nuclear industry, I heard of several instances of criminality at nuke plants, including:
- theft
- bribery
- bid rigging
- racketeering
- death threats
- prostitution on company property
- sales of drugs and weapons on plant property
And you want to build more of these ticking time bombs because of "climate change"? Don't do it.
US corporations can't handle giant projects like this anymore, and neither can the government. They often could back in the days when GE, Westinghouse, or Naval Reactors ran the whole show from start to completion, but no more.
