The first person to run a mile in less than 4 minutes died two days ago:

In my lifetime, he both achieved this milestone and passed away.

Some say we're going to Mars, but I doubt I'll live to see it. And I'm certainly not going there myself.
Some say we soon shall achieve immortality, but I know I won't be one of those either.
Death is no less a mystery than life itself.
