The Beginning Of A Golden Age ???

Here are three highly contradictory statements, all of which appear to be correct:

(1) “If you could hold a conference about the beginning of a golden age, why wouldn’t you?” [Amazon CEO Jeff] Bezos asked a field packed full of rocket scientists, AI researchers, and roboticists. “I really do believe that we are on the leading edge of an incredible renaissance.”

(2) Humans are sleepwalking into a mass extinction of species not seen since the dinosaurs.

(3) A Grandville kindergarten student was sodomized by fellow classmates, with portions of the assaults recorded and shared, leading the boy to “cover himself with mulch’’ to avoid more harassment, according to a lawsuit filed this week.

The world being created by Bezos and his fellow billionaires is one full of human monsters, and which is soon to be devoid of all other forms of life. That's not a "renaissance" or a "golden age" - that's a DISASTER !!!

Or are we now supposed to measure everything in terms of how it benefits the wealth of Jeff Bezos?
