The Significance Of A Ban On Ritual Slaughter

Here's the latest from Muslim hating Belgium:

Citing resistance by Muslims to a compromise on ritual slaughter of animals, a Belgian cabinet minister called for a blanket ban on the custom, a policy that would affect observant Jews and Muslims.

Ben Weyts, animal welfare minister in the government of the Flemish Region - one of three entities that make up the federal kingdom of Belgium - on Tuesday told Radio 1 that it had become necessary to outlaw in the region any slaughter of animals who have not been stunned prior to the act.

This also may have Biblical significance, especially in regards to the "abomination of desolation" which was prophesied by Daniel:

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel 9:27 KJV

Some think that when the Third Temple is built, the Jews will restart the daily sacrifices. At some point after that, the Antichrist will cause the sacrifices to cease and the abomination of desolation to be set up in the temple. A ban on ritual slaughter would be one way for the Antichrist to cause those sacrifices to cease.

On the other hand, considering the growing power of the nation of Israel, it seems unlikely that anyone would be able to force them to stop the sacrifices once restarted.

But with G-d's help, anything is possible.

By the way, in two previous blog posts I demonstrated the Antichrist cannot be either the Jewish Messiah or the Imam al-Mahdi. You can find that demonstration here:

No, the Antichrist will be someone pretending to be a Christian. Someone like Ted Cruz, or maybe Pope Francis.
