I have heard Muslims say similar things during previous wars, both in Israel and Iraq. And many people (including Indians) claimed that G-d intervened to save the life of George Washington several times.
Has G-d actually intervened in human affairs? And whether or not you believe in it, will He continue to do so?
Once the major combatants start to believe that He has, the world's current conflicts will become a true Holy War. And the death rate will spin out of control.
