Is A Human Life Worth $48.99 ???

Michael Brown allegedly tried to steal cigars worth $48.99 before he was shot to death by police:

A few years ago, a homeless man was killed by sheriff's deputies in Texas while resisting arrest after stealing fountain drinks from a convenience store.

Property seems to be far more important than people in the United States.

Crimes of the US state and/or deep state never seem to be prosecuted. Why is it necessary to punish the poor for every infraction ... yet permissible to allow bankgangsters and corporations to steal billions of dollars with impunity?

We're living a modern version of Les Misérables, and it's not going to have a happy ending. Our version of Marie Antoinette (Hillary Rodham) not only will get to keep her head, she will also ascend the throne her husband once occupied.

Let them eat cake! After all, she too is dead broke.
