Why Russia Did Not Shoot Down The Plane

Think about it.

There is absolutely no up side for Russia in shooting down that plane over Ukraine. The only way any Russian would have been involved is by accident.

The US, on the other hand, would do just about anything to torpedo Russia and the BRICS anti-dollar initiatives, including even (yes) killing innocent people. Getting the shoot-down to stick to Russia helps promote sanctions that otherwise were not working.

Did you believe the 9/11 Commission Report? NO.

Is the CIA advising the Ukraine "government"? YES.

Is the US in big financial trouble? YES.

Does the US routinely kill innocent people to get what it wants? YES.

Do the Russians routinely kill innocent people to get what they want? That's a good question. If you think they do, please provide some examples. I would like to see them.

Update: Here is a good photo essay about the crash and its aftermath:

No matter what really happened, the stink from this is going to stick to Russia.

Contrast that with the fallout from the "accidental" shooting down of Iran Air Flight 655 by the USS Vincennes in 1988. Not only was no American disciplined or punished for that tragedy, the responsible officers were even decorated following their tour of duty:

Oh, wait ... I forgot: we're the exceptional, indispensable nation. It's okay when we kill people, even by accident. G-d loves us, so He must have wanted them to die.

Update: This piece in The New York Times reinforces my original point. Destruction of this plane has made Ukraine a front burner issue for the whole world. The Russians are not stupid; they would never have intentionally done such a thing:
