Here is a report about oil flows and the future of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve:

If the administration considers oil in the SPR a "stranded asset", that suggests they're going to pump it dry. Then what?
First, they'll "allow" US companies to harvest oil from Venezuela:
https://news.antiwar.com/2022/11/24/us-might-give-chevron-a-license-to-pump-oil-in-venezuela/
... and of course they'll also build a new terminal which would allow that oil to flow into the US:

But note well that most reports about this new terminal are calling it an EXPORT terminal, which means the US will continue to sell "our" oil at a premium to the EU and other US servants, while US customers will not benefit from ANY of what is now happening.
Are you happy now? How will you feel when you have to park your EV and ride a bicycle to work, assuming you even have a job at that point?
