Belgium is confiscating coke faster than they can burn it:
In a former life I worked for the TX environmental agency. We had the same problem - illegal drugs of all kinds were being confiscated in huge quantities, and there were only a few incinerators available to dispose of them.
It takes a long time to get such a burner authorized, and they only can handle a small amount at one time to ensure complete destruction. We considered using other incinerators in the state to do the burns, but I don't know whether TX decided to do that or not.
I don't believe legalizing drugs in the way to go. It would just trade one problem for another. People are gonna do what they're gonna do, and someone always will be ready to sell them what they want ... legally or otherwise.
