From what I gather, a similar problem exists in the USA.
Our two countries would appear to have a totally different gene pool, different eating habits, different social norms, etc. ... or do they? What common factors could be causing such a thing to happen?
Is it perhaps the ubiquitous presence of plastic or some other toxin in the environment? Or can we blame this on the Internet, too?
