Do you see any similarity between these two events and what is happening in the US?

I see a direct parallel between the coup in Myanmar and what happened in the 2020 US election.

The fact that alleged US election manipulation has NOT been forensically examined by "the authorities" suggests they don't WANT to know. And these revelations by Time magazine ought to make it clear there WAS a conspiracy to make sure Trump lost:

I will agree that people have the right to promote their favorite candidate and thwart the other guy, but when their efforts rely on illegal or unconstitutional means to achieve victory, then I cannot support them. And neither should you.

And it really appears Trump has become the Democrat's version of Navalny, with the sham "impeachment" and ongoing persecution of the former president being their version of Putin's persecution of his detractor.

We're no better than Myanmar or Russia. In fact, if Congress has the authority to "impeach" Trump for an alleged insurrection, then both those countries have a similar right to defend themselves against US meddling in their internal affairs.
