Are You Offended By What Donald Trump Said ???

Apparently some folks are offended by what Donald Trump said about Mexicans. What exactly did he say?

Here is the text of the speech he gave when announcing his candidacy:

http://time.com/3923128/donald-trump-announcement-speech/

Undoubtedly the most offensive part of the speech is this:

The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems.

Thank you. It’s true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

Was he speaking falsehoods? Let's evaluate some of what he said, claim by claim:

(1) They're sending people that have lots of problems

Many of the people who came to America over the centuries have had lots of problems. They were poor, they were unemployed, they were sick, they were fleeing persecution. And they brought some aspect of such problems with them. What's wrong with stating the truth about this?

(2) They're bringing drugs

If you look, you can find multiple reports documenting this. Here is one example:

http://www.breitbart.com/texas/2014/10/13/drug-cartels-turn-illegal-immigrants-quest-for-the-american-dream-into-a-nightmare/

(3) They're bringing crime

Statistics suggest that immigrants have a higher rate of incarceration than non-immigrants. Here are some facts:

(4) They're rapists

Yes, some of them are rapists. Here is one report concerning this fact:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/apr/13/illegal-immigrants-crimes-expose-broken-immigratio/

There is a plaque on the Statue of Liberty which contains the following words:

Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

The phrase "wretched refuse" is more or less equivalent to how Donald Trump described the current flood of immigrants. So why was it acceptable to use such a phrase back then (in fact to glorify it), but not acceptable to use it now?

We can only answer this question if we're honest about what has been happening in North America and why it has been happening.

Prior to "free trade" agreements, the people of Mexico could feed themselves. After NAFTA, they no longer can.

Prior to "free trade" agreements, the people of the United States could support themselves. After NAFTA, WTO, and the rest, they no longer can.

"Free trade" agreements have created many billionaires, but they have created far more poor and unemployed people.

Our two nations (and several others) have been and are being destabilized by the actions of oligarchs, bankgangsters, corporations, and their collaborators in the one percent. This coterie of thugs has destroyed the economies of North America in the pursuit of personal enrichment. And part of that intentional destabilization has been and is to keep us fighting with each other. In effect they have used the Willie Lynch method of slave control to oppress and enslave us:

I HAVE OUTLINED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENCES AMONG THE SLAVES; AND I TAKE THESE DIFFERENCES AND MAKE THEM BIGGER. I USE FEAR, DISTRUST AND ENVY FOR CONTROL PURPOSES. These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South. Take this simple little list of differences and think about them. On top of my list is “AGE,” but it’s there only because it starts with an “a.” The second is “COLOR” or shade. There is INTELLIGENCE, SIZE, SEX, SIZES OF PLANTATIONS, STATUS on plantations, ATTITUDE of owners, whether the slaves live in the valley, on a hill, East, West, North, South, have fine hair, course hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences, I shall give you an outline of action, but before that, I shall assure you that DISTRUST IS STRONGER THAN TRUST AND ENVY STRONGER THAN ADULATION, RESPECT OR ADMIRATION.

Note well that official America, including the President and his administration, the MSM, the clergy, and leaders in the workplace and marketplace are not helping this situation ... they are exacerbating it. Anyone who thinks that America is encouraging and tolerating the current nearly uncontrolled flood of immigrants for reasons of compassion is either a fool or a liar. The true reasons for our current immigration "policy" at the oligarch, bankgangster, and corporation level are to continue to employ cheaper and cheaper labor, to break the power of unions, to destroy the middle class, to end the safety net programs such as Social Security and Medicare, and to utilize the power of the mob to shout down and overcome any and all voices in opposition to their "market state" agenda.

So, I say bring 'em on. Tear down the border walls. Open the floodgates. Bring in the bad along with the good, the wretched refuse alongside the unemployed PhDs. But at least do so with the understanding of where this is taking us. The average global annual income is $10,000 per person. Achieving that in the United States will no doubt help many people, including lawful and unlawful immigrants. But it will mean the end of the so-called American Dream. This new crop of "Dreamers" won't notice the difference because they'll still be better off than they were at home, but what about the rest of us?

Maybe some of you think this is a fair and/or compassionate thing to do. I'd agree with you if it was being done for compassionate reasons, but it certainly is not. It is being done so that the 1% of the 1% of the 1% can eventually own everything while the other 7+ billion of us are left to fight over the scraps from our masters' table while trying to escape the hordes of autonomous killer robots the rich will dispatch to get rid of us.

Update: I think The Donald hit the nail on the head:

Seattle TV station KIRO 7 found 11 convicted sex offenders in the country illegally living across western Washington neighborhoods.

The government has tried to deport most of these people, but a Supreme Court ruling requires they be released after six months in jail, if their home country won't take them back.

You can read the rest @

Why are we tracking US citizen sex offenders, but not the illegals? Just another SCOTUS screw up, or is this what we call "justice"?

Second Update: Ann Coulter agrees with me:

http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2015-07-01.html

She is correct when she says the MSM offers no facts to back up their claims or their emotional outbursts. No other country in the world would tolerate the immigration violations we have been saddled with. And that's because they care about their sovereignty, while the US is feverishly trying to give away its sovereignty to corporations.

Third Update: Apparently some folks at CDC agree with The Donald:

http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2015/07/cdc-official-calls-obama-worst-president-amateur-marxist-after-influx-of-illegal-alien-minors/

If you've been paying attention, you know the influx of immigrants has brought some dangerous diseases into our country in willy-nilly fashion:

http://sainthoward.blogspot.com/2015/04/why-is-cdc-concealing-mystery-virus.html

Trump did not mention this, but he should. He is being called an "idiot", but the real idiots (or criminals) are the people who have allowed this wave of uncontrolled immigration.
