The three religions which claim Abraham as their patriarch (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) all have End Time prophecies:
- The Jews are waiting for their messiah, who will be a man (not a deity);
- Christians are waiting for the Second Coming of Christ (who they believe to be a deity); and
- Muslims are waiting for the Al-Mahdi (a man, not a deity) and the reappearance of Jesus (who they believe is just a man who did not die on the cross).
All three versions of these prophecies predict some violence and/or punishment of the wicked.
They can be analyzed from two opposite points of view:
- Either there is a G-d, or
- There is no G-d.
The author of the above-linked essay (and most people in the MSM) appear to write from the "no G-d" perspective. True believers, however, and by this I mean TRUE BELIEVERS know that everything which will happen in the End Times is pre-ordained and/or permitted by G-d.
This means that any strategy for "defeating" ISIS by human intervention alone will work only if there is no G-d or if such a thing is what G-d wants.
I happen to believe in G-d, and I also believe that what is written in the Book of Revelation will come to pass. And it is clear from that book that the role of a TRUE CHRISTIAN in the End Times is to keep the faith and stay out of G-d's way. And these are not the people that Muslims in general and ISIS have a problem with. Their problem is with pseudo-Christians who do not follow what the Bible says, and unfortunately that includes many Americans.
In support of that belief, allow me to repeat something I have said many times before - DO NOT TAKE PART IN THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON. Here are additional reasons why I say this:
This is the order of battle at Armageddon
On the side of GOOD:
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

On the side of EVIL:
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 19:19-20
As we know, the dead in Christ who are sleeping in the grave will be raptured when the final trumpet blows. Since this will occur before the Battle of Armageddon, it's possible they will be part of "the armies which were in heaven". But the Bible does not say this directly.
Therefore, it appears that every LIVING person at the battle (with the exception of Jesus and possibly the raptured dead) will be fighting on the side of EVIL. This includes the US President (who is one of the "kings of the earth"), the US Army, the US Navy, the US Air Force, the US Marine Corps, all NATO forces, and anyone else foolish enough to join the beast, the false prophet, and the kings of the earth. The presence of military chaplains in their midst will not change this fact.

Your military oaths to obey the orders of the President and your superior officers bind you TO FIGHT ON THE SIDE OF EVIL in this conflict. This is consistent with my belief that the "mark of the beast" is a military salute (which involves your right hand and your forehead):
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

All the crap you are now hearing on TV and the Internet is an attempt to lure you to the Battle of Armageddon and persuade you that the Bible is a fairy tail and there is no G-d ... or that this is what G-d wants you to do.
DO NOT BELIEVE IT.
