“Someone could come from Pakistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan … and be a carrier of the virus and then pass it on to people who are not vaccinated,” John Hewko of Rotary International says.

Dear John: I can think of no reason why anyone from Pakistan, Nigeria, or Afghanistan has to be given automatic access to the US.
There's two ways to approach this: vaccinate everyone, or test people who want to enter the country. Which do you think will cost more?
And by the way, vaccines are NOT 100% effective. None of them.
We ought to take pause and consider how the polio vaccine was misused by the US in the hunt for Osama bin Laden. Clearly our government is willing to misuse life-saving medicines and vaccines for political and security purposes. How do we know that this latest vaccine rant is not motivated by similar issues?
