In make-believe we trust

Here is a recently published survey of the 100 "most trusted" people in the US:

Take note that the people at the top are actors, actresses, and movie directors: people whose career is "make-believe". How can a person be "trusted" when all they ever do is read a script that is put in their hands by someone else?

We love our fantasies, and ignore our realities.
