Hawking grows a pair

Professor Stephen Hawking has joined the academic boycott against Israel:

According to the article, "active participation in such events is a far more constructive way to promote progress and peace."

I dunno about that. People have been talking and actively participating in such events for 65 years, and it doesn't seem to have made any difference.
