Junk DNA?

Scientists now think that most of our DNA is "unnecessary":

I'm not willing to give up my "junk" DNA, are you? It might be necessary for future evolutionary purposes, or perhaps its real purpose involves the other species which eat it.

Scientists think they're smart, but much of what they do has resulted in riches for them and in hunger, sickness, and death for others. Not the kind of people I trust.
