Time For Congress To Step Up

As you well know, the US Constitution contains the following clauses:

Article I, Section 8

The Congress shall have Power ...

5. To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

11. To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;

It appears to have relinquished all of these powers.

While the US is constantly at war, Congress is seldom in charge of the situation. We the People tolerate this, apparently because we're so in love with war.

And not only does Congress allow the Federal (sic) Reserve System to regulate the value of our money, it also appears to do nothing when OTHER private parties seek to profit from the dollar's demise:

When our country is under attack, Congress should defend us. Each of us.

They should NOT fund wars of aggression, and they should NOT stand idly by while currency traders and others plunder our treasury. If we're going to impose sanctions, let's do it where and when it makes sense.

STOP the war in Ukraine and STOP the destruction of the dollar. BOTH are serious threats to the stability of our country and way of life and require URGENT attention.
