The "Islamic" Nuclear Bomb

Nine countries are known to possess nuclear weapons:

• United States of America
• United Kingdom
• France
• Russia
• China
• Pakistan
• India
• North Korea
• Israel

Now it appears three more nations also may want such weapons:

[Note - Anyone with a "nuclear power program" is well on the way to being weapons capable.]

Personally, I think nuclear anything was the dumbest idea humanity ever conceived. There are few if any benefits and several very bad detrimental aspects to it.

Mutual assured destruction (MAD) soon may be replaced by a religion-based belief in the "necessity" to use nuclear weapons. When that happens, we all shall regret ever having created them.
