Several sources have maintained that the WTC buildings were brought down by nuclear bombs or similar devices on 9/11. I have written about this before:

Today I discovered a report which should put this subject to rest. It states in part:
We found only background levels of alpha radionuclide activity by liquid scintillation counter analysis of all three samples. Beta activity was slightly elevated, but not more than twice the background level. There were no levels of gamma activity > 1 Bq/g except for naturally occurring potassium-40.

This report, which is the only one I have found which includes actual measurements of the radiation from 9/11 dust, very strongly suggests nuclear devices played no role in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the subsequent collapse/disintegration of the buildings.
Update: I tried to add a copy of this post to the comments of a report on the Veterans Today website, but either it didn't stick or someone took it down:

If Veterans Today is trying to say that nuclear devices were used on 9/11, I believe they are wrong.
But you can believe whatever you want.
