Apparently the Republicans can't understand Donald Trump's popularity:

Maybe it's because voters remember how the Republican Party has betrayed and is betraying them.
Andrew Jackson was quite popular with common people, even though the elites of his day called him a racist, too.
America has devoted a lot of effort to thwarting the will of We The People. Should Donald Trump make good on his promises to us, he might just win.
And if he does, I hope he takes a fire hose and washes all the corruption and filth out of our government.
