No more than 30 years, according to this report:
It has been estimated that by 2045 robots will be able to perform every job that humans can.

"The notion that humans can now work safely, side by side with a robot employee is both intriguing and groundbreaking."
It's also quite possibly BS.
"Collaborative robots have an innate ability to both fascinate and empower humans."
They also have an innate ability to kill humans.
Today humans "earn their keep" either by working or by creating intellectual property. Not that many of us ever can or will create intellectual property, and now they tell us that in 30 years we won't be needed to perform work, either.
The real challenge here is to create an economic system that really needs and values humans. However, none of the robot-creating geniuses (or anyone else) seems to have that on their agenda.
Mark my words, this will be a disaster for humanity.
It also has been predicted that robots will build a home for us in space:

No doubt they will, but only the rich will be able to afford to travel there. My guess is that the rich will escape to space, have their robots kill those of us who must remain on the ground, and then return at some point to enjoy the planet all by themselves. Much like the plot of the James Bond movie Moonraker.
Unless the robots kill them, too.
