Recently several governments and organizations, including the UN, have told us that quarantines will not prevent the spread of Ebola virus disease.
Take a look at this report concerning how the UN was responsible for bringing cholera into Haiti and how they now seek to shed any liability for the suffering and death they caused:

This episode demonstrates that the UN is both incompetent and irresponsible. For that reason, I don't think we should allow them to have any input concerning public health and safety in the US.
