However, successfully imitating a human is not the same as "thinking".
By the way, what is it that humans do most these days?
- Make other humans (babies)
- Kill other humans
- Talk/text with other humans
- Consume resources
- Pollute the earth
- Destroy other species
When robots start doing all these things by themselves, then I'll start calling them successful human imitators. But take note that none of these activities require "thinking", either.
