Wikileaks Vs. The Intercept

As I understand it, the philosophy of Wikileaks is to release everything they have, once it is verified.

The Intercept, on the other hand, appears to pick and choose what they deem to release from everything leaked to them.

This report suggests that Wikileaks' philosophy actually is the better one from the perspective of We The People:

Dear owners and crew of The Intercept - We don't need or want your censorship. We've already got several governments and corporations doing that to us.

Please show us all you've got. Trust us - we're mature enough to handle it and quite capable of drawing our own conclusions, including this one:

Wikileaks = free press. The Intercept does not.
