Finland May Give Citizens $1,000 Per Month

Finland is considering giving every citizen €800 a month (about $1,000).

Proposals for a national basic income are intended to simplify the social security system and encourage more unemployed people to take on temporary work.

In the US, on the other hand, the federal budget is roughly $1,000 per month per person.

Very little of that money actually goes to We The People.

I think I'll move to Finland. Yes, it's cold and the people never smile, but at least they have a government that cares about them.
