I stopped reading as soon as I saw those words.
Libya was a well run stable nation which did a lot for its citizens. The US can't stand it when anyone not under our thumb offers the world a successful alternative to the neocolonial system we are trying to impose on everyone. So America told a pack of lies, killed Qadhafi, and destroyed his country.
In fact it was the actions of the United States and our puppets in NATO which caused "the slaughter of thousands" of Libya's citizens.
But we're too trapped in our fantasy world to admit that.
The fate of Libya is a good example of one of the major trends in today's world. Nation states are being destroyed. They are then replaced either with chaos, or eventually with entities organized under "market state" principles. One should note that few if any of these "market states" are successful from the perspective of We The People. However, that does not matter because the oligarchs are slowly getting what they want ... and that is what really matters.
