Realistically, the entire settler-related conflict in Israel is identical to what always happens when "settlers" take the land from its original inhabitants - somebody gets killed, their deaths are "avenged", and back and forth until everyone on one side is dead (or at least reduced to a ghost of their former selves). This is exactly how European settlers took over North America, and it is exactly what Israeli settlers are doing in Palestine:

So it should not surprise anyone that the US has no problem with what is going on there. Our ancestors were murderers, too.
