There is a hell of a lot of plastic in our oceans, and now it is "disappearing" from sight:

If this stuff kills off the oceans, we'll be dead long before climate disruption gets to us.
Why isn't Obama ad-Dajjal all bent out of shape about that?
By the way, to those of you who don't give a damn about DU in Iraq (see http://sainthoward.blogspot.com/2014/07/our-toxic-legacy-in-iraq.html): this is everyman's version of DU. The trash and radioactive debris we have been dumping in the oceans eventually will do to us what DU is doing to the Iraqis. By then it will be too late to do anything about it.
