Bring Back Our Constitution

Here is the most important argument before us today:

The president, following a practice of his predecessors, has appropriated and further delegated the war-making power - which belongs to Congress alone. This has created a constitutionally impermissible condition where the power to declare war has passed into the hands of those responsible to wage war. 

There is no faster route to destruction of our republic than the path we are currently upon, where unelected Pentagon officials have been ceded a constitutional power reserved for the Congress.

It's alarming that this argument is being made ONLY by a few former members of Congress, such as Dennis Kucinich, and by a small minority of current members, such as Senator Rand Paul. "Our" Congress appears to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the military-industrial-banking-information-prison complex and the nation of Israel, neither of which has any respect for our Constitution or laws.

Bring back our Constitution, or our nation shall perish. And DO NOT allow these clowns to amend or replace it. It can work just fine as is if they would let it.

Clintonists have been working tirelessly since the election to manufacture these new Cold War tensions. Stephen Cohen, easily America’s foremost authority on US-Russia relations, has warned again and again that the political pressures being placed on the Trump administration to maintain escalations with Russia without conceding an inch has placed our species in a situation that is in some ways even more dangerous than those we faced at the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis. If Kennedy had had to negotiate that crisis while being pressured by his entire country to keep escalating tensions with the USSR without yielding an inch, there is no way any terrestrial life would have existed beyond 1962. The Clintonists (along with their neocon buddies on the other side of the aisle) are responsible for creating those pressures.

I doubt truer words ever were written.

But here's the part I don't get - once the Russian missiles were removed from Cuba, why didn't the Pentagon get their nuclear war with Russia? Don't say "because they got the Vietnam War instead", because that was a poor substitute for what they really wanted and have never stopped wanting - world domination.

Some observations:

(1) US Representatives represent their districts. No money from outside the district should have been allowed in this election, and certainly not $50 million.

(2) Why should this have been a more valid referendum on Trump than the fact he won the presidential election?

Cut Him Open Already

An Ohio coroner, abiding by family wishes, has performed an external examination instead of a full autopsy on the body of the US student who was held prisoner in North Korea for 17 months and sent home in a coma.

The Hamilton County coroner’s office was conferring with doctors at a Cincinnati hospital who treated Otto Warmbier, 22, before reaching any conclusions about his death a day earlier, investigator Daryl Zornes said.

Investigators were reviewing radiological images and awaiting additional medical records requested by the coroner, Zornes said.

He declined to estimate how long it would take for the coroner’s office to complete its inquiry. Preliminary autopsy findings had been expected on Tuesday or Wednesday.

There was no immediate word from the family about why relatives declined an autopsy, which may have shed more light on the cause of the neurological injuries that left him in a coma.

If he was my son, I'd want to know exactly why he died. I would not hinder the autopsy.

And by the way, an autopsy should have been performed on Justice Scalia, too.

The US "Health" Racket

The health insurance industry, for the most part, is the Mob painted over with a veneer of legitimacy. They're a protection racket. The Mob got people to pay by offering "protection" for your restaurant or store, and would burn it down if you didn't pay up. With the insurance industry, your body is the store, and as all flesh is inevitably weak, your store will eventually burn down, taking your financial stability with it unless you pay the insurance middleman in full. Nice health you got there, be a shame if something happened to it. That's only if they don't turn down your claim because of a typo on your claim form, which is hardly rare. I had ICU nurses telling me insurance horror stories that made one wistful for the ringing sound of guillotines in the town square.

Dear Jack - Right now we've got 95 million people who don't work at all. Neither they nor the people 30 years from now can feed themselves or pay their many bills. Mini businesses all trying to sell to each other is not going to bridge the gap.

Not with less than 10 people owning over half the wealth of humanity.
