Incredible things are happening in the Middle East, but not all the motivations for them may be obvious. The following reports may contain some clues -

It may seem odd that Turkey (an Islamic country) would be willing to sell the waters of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers to Israel (the homeland for the Jewish people), but the added benefit of seeing Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, etc. dying of thirst must be too hard to resist.
Just living out their promise as a "light unto the nations", I guess.
