Warrentless Searches

What do you think about this?

The current rules read something like this:

US Constitution, Fourth Amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Slowly but surely, we're moving in a direction that substitutes rumor and innuendo for oath or affirmation.

It all boils down to what is considered "unreasonable". Terrorist attacks are causing the definition of that word to change, and this may not be a good thing.

If you want to change the US Constitution, then amend it. Chipping away at it one piece at a time is a horrible idea.
