The first known patient to suffer from COVID-19 had NO LINK to the Wuhan seafood market. He was bedridden and confined to his dwelling:

This implies someone or something else brought the virus to him and/or that long-range transmission of the virus is possible.
I'm guessing the Chinese aren't trying too hard to find a link to the BSL-4 lab.
