More Submarine Deaths ???

Apparently the Russians have suffered yet another submarine disaster:

We used to have a small, secretive nuclear sub similar to this Russian one. It was the NR-1:

NR-1 and other US subs conducted lots of secretive missions not unlike what the Russian sub is said to have been doing. That's what subs do.

And many US subs have suffered from fires and other underwater disasters. I was a witness to several of them myself, and I've always been amazed that Scorpion and Thresher were our only two nuclear sub losses. We've come VERY close numerous times on other vessels.

Yes, We Have No Foreign Policy

The only thing the US has which even remotely looks like a foreign policy is our slavish support for Israel:

Lou Dobbs Vs. The Pentagon

I'm a US military veteran, and I see nothing wrong with the recent statements made by Lou Dobbs:

It is our generals who are cowardly. Few of them (if any) lead troops in battle or otherwise get in harms way. They haven't won a war against a truly capable enemy since 1865 (Russia and the atom bomb, itself a cowardly weapon, won WWII). They approve rules of engagement which cause the routine slaughter of civilians. They openly criticize their Commander-in-Chief, which in my day would have been considered an act of insubordination or even mutiny.

Keep it up, Lou. You and Neil Cavuto are two of the last few TV journalists worth their salt.

Real Life Frankensteins ???

Many of The Founders made similar statements and even some more provocative than this against the British Crown. Aren't such statements and the right to make them what democracy is all about?
