Les Misérables

We seem to have turned back the clock to 1862.

The financial titans who are managing the Great Taking openly boast about their plans which will turn us all into their slaves:

Meanwhile, average jobless Americans who shoplift to feed their families are somehow the "crazy" criminals who must be stopped:

Like I said before, I don't support the "No Kings" baloney because it's not going after the right people. Trump is not the main problem, bankers and corporate bigwigs are. And considering their complete lack of compassion and shame, things are only going to get worse.

Violence Nation

You may recall this admission made by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his 1967 address Beyond Vietnam - A Time To Break Silence:

"I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today -- my own government. For the sake of those boys, for the sake of this government, for the sake of the hundreds of thousands trembling under our violence, I cannot be silent."

Not only has nothing changed for the better since then, now we actually have a "Department of War" whose civilian leader literally wants to make the Pentagon a global arms bazaar:

If the United States ever was a force for good in the world, we're not any more. And "our" Congress appears to be on board for just about anything the President wants to do.
