Our New SPR

I keep hearing strategists say we shouldn't have drained our Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) and that Iran can cut off our supplies of oil:

I also hear whining about how "Joe Biden" chose Venezuela over Canada for our heavy oil needs:

NEWS FLASH !!! Venezuela IS our new SPR:

• It's got the largest proven reserves in the world,
• It's close to the US,
• It's outside the range of Iran's armed forces, and
• It's completely at our mercy.

If someone blocks the Panama Canal, we could easily build a relatively short pipeline to get crude across Colombia to the Pacific Ocean and to "Joe Biden's" friends in China.

And the best part is, since the US has a hammer lock on the VZ economy, we can set the price we'll pay when we let them give sell us their oil.

Win-Win, wouldn't you agree?

I'm even tempted to say, "See, Joe's not so dumb!" ... except it probably wasn't his idea.
