Is History Racist ???
Henry Ford once said, "history is bunk".
Now, apparently, history is racist. You can read about it here:

Yes, "history" is written by the people in charge. And the "official" version of US history has been written mostly by white people. Does that mean we should abolish it?
In my view, most history is self-serving propaganda. Anyone who doesn't want to be racist should read all versions of history, and there are plenty of those.
And the key issue is treating them ALL as truthful, at least from the point of view of the writer and the intended audience of the writer.
Some day, the versions may converge. On that day, and not before, we'll be able to hope racism finally has been abolished.

The Riots Are Just Getting Started
Thousands of people are demonstrating and rioting due to systemic racism.
There also is a huge watershed of people who are now out of work, and they may not remain peaceful much longer:
The implementation of robotics and AI will take away even more millions of jobs in the near future. What are all THOSE people going to do when they can't pay their bills or feed their families? Simply printing more fiat money won't solve the problem, and would cause its own set of problems.
We are on the verge of a complete societal meltdown. And what did Congress do when US oligarchs came to DC to "testify"? Nothing, at least nothing of importance.
Some industrial strength shit is going to hit the fan real soon, and when it does people are going to look for someone to save them from the chaos. Whoever that person is, they're quite likely to be a dictator like we've never seen before. To paraphrase Eleanor Shaw Iselin from The Manchurian Candidate, our savior will seize powers which will make martial law seem like anarchy!

36 Reporters Who Failed Us After 9/11

Somehow they later recanted their eyewitness testimony and told us it was the planes, and only the planes.

I recently watched a 2016 miniseries called The Night Manager, starring Hugh Laurie of House M.D. fame. It's about an arms dealer (played by Laurie) and joint US/UK efforts to take down his network.
It occurred to me that since the US is by far the largest weapons dealer in the world and often destroys entire sovereign nations as part of its bloodthirsty arms trade, it is the height of hypocrisy to blame terrorism on people like the Laurie-portrayed character of the miniseries. We only "go after them" either because they're competition or because the weapons they sell go to people we don't like who might use them to escape US hegemony.
Do you want peace in the world? Then stop enabling people like Obama ad-Dajjal, Hillary Clinton, John Bolton, Chris Stevens, and others who seem to think the suffering of other peoples somehow promotes "democracy". It doesn't.

That conflict between science and politics might cause some people to not trust the vaccine and refuse to take it, which would undermine the global campaign to stop the pandemic. Or it could lead to a product that is not fully protective. Confidence in routine childhood vaccinations, already shaken, could decline further.
